Contest Instructions
Simply draw or sketch a quintessentially British scene or still life; whether it be a cup of tea, a British Bulldog, Big Ben or anything you can dream up!
Once it’s complete – simply take a photo or a scan and upload to the ‘entry’ page and fill in your details.
Don’t worry too much about the execution; it’s the idea that counts! All we ask is that the drawing be done in coloured pencil, graphite pencil, any watersoluble pencil or pastels.
The drawing can be as abstract or as detailed as you’d like; it’s up to you how you create your Best of British artwork!
Contest Starts

  1. I usually listen to classical music whether I am painting or drawing. The intent is the same- the music lets my mind wander as there is no lyrics to sing to. That way I get deeper into my art and it just lets me float away with it....
