  3. Unfortunately I live in a small British Columbia town, and do not have that many events. We do have an art gallery that features local artists, and if one interests me, I will go and have a peek. Travelling around the province we do get to see some great artists showing their art but there is no specific event.

  4. There is an exihibition event to be held in my place later this year which features the works of an international artists community here in Doha. It is also an opportunity for aspiring artists to be a part of the community by means of a selection.

  8. The Heart of Ohio Tole Painters Convention in Columbus, Ohio this August 5-10. They have a wonderful assortment of classes including several colored pencil classes. And the prices are very reasonable too!

  12. I'm looking up to my arts exam. I'm curious to know how my defended work will be accepted. Since I'm graduating and art exam's results may affect my university choices and later life, I want to do my best and improve as much as I can!

  13. I am an artist and art teacher and I have created a course to teach other artists how to create their own business teaching art to people of all ages. I am looking forward to turning it into an eBook so I can make it available to a larger group of artists.

  17. I work full time retail which means I work most weekends.. don't get to go to many 'happenings'; so my favorite art event is whenever I find some extra time to spend in my studio. Whether I'm drawing, painting, watching art videos, or catching up on the latest Colored Pencil Magazine article, any time spent at the art desk is heaven!

  18. ARTSCAPE in Riverside, CA! From March 2013 - September 2013 The Riverside Arts Council will be hosting the gallery, and I will be having 4 of my colored pencil pieces in the competition. The doors will open later this week, and I cannot wait.

  29. The annual St. James Court Art Fair in Louisville, Kentucky! It's an open-air, juried, fine-arts fair with about 750 exhibitors from all over North America. The setting is in one of the nation's largest Victorian-era neighborhoods, and it's something we look forward to every year. I always come away from it with new inspiration for my own art/craft, and maybe a new treasure or two.

  34. I belong to the Hanover Area Arts Guild in PA, and like to enter in their Spring Show. I work mainly in Watercolor and Colored Pencil. My subjects are usually Horses, Dogs and Farm Cats. I really enjoy seeing others Artists work as well.

  46. Living in Louisiana always gives me opportunities to see new art. One of my favorites is the Jazz Festival in New Orleans. It is always the last weekend in April and the first weekend in May. I look forward to seeing artists from all over the world there in the very large arts and crafts area!
