  1. Based on my work I would say Autumn and Spring. They are so full of colors, that I tend to draw my best work during those seasons.

  2. I don't think I have a particular season as such when I am most artistically active. Having said that, dark gloomy days are a put off but not all the time.

  3. Fall, I love the colors and the crisp air.

  4. Autumn would inspire me the most as the mood is perfect to be locked away in my studio with all my creative thoughts.

  5. I think that all of the seasons inspire me equally, since I see all of them as charming. All of them have their pros and cons. In summer I am more attracted to draw human body, in winter - landscape sketches/pieces, autumn gives me ideas for colours, and spring is great for drawing outside :)

EVERY season inspires me. The deep rich colors of fall. The beautiful pastel colors of spring. The bright sunny colors of summer. The dark mysterious colors of winter. Inspiration can be found anytime and anywhere. One just has to be willing to look for it.

  24. well for me being inspired artistically does not require any season or any specific time. An artist can be inspired to draw and be motivated to be artistic when he or she sees an object that makes him or her feel like drawing. Every object or experience may have a deep meaning towards the artist. I as an artist is inspired everyday because each and every day gives my eyes the richest colors, the richest pictures and the richest experiences that leads to imaginations and wonders and most of all, to my inspirations. And those inspirations are something i hold on while being artistically motivated in order produce art that can also inspire other. =)

  55. Living on the coast, I tend to create more in the summer. Summer here has it all. It is full of life and character with it's carefree wildlife and fun seeking vacationers. I am energized. I love the endless arrays of blues and greens of the water and land. The vibrant reds, oranges and amber's of the sunsets amaze me. A stormy day changes the mood and color palette with it's gloomy grays, deep violets, and gleaming gold of a sudden lightening strike. I am inspired by the sheer majesty of it all...

  63. That's a tough call, but my answer would probably be autumn-- because of the gorgeous colors and the crisp, somewhat somber feelings of the coming frost.

Spring is a great season too, though. The scent of the blossoming flowers is inspiration all in itself.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Mine would be winter only because I am less active and find I have more time at the desk. I also love animals in winter settings.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Actually to me winter appeals the most, artistically with the white washed landscapes and tress covered with snow, very magical and the white background is great against a pop of color like a yellow bicycle or colorful balloons tied to a snow covered porch. facebook fan: Shake Maj.

  81. Spring and summer it seems. Subconsciously though, ill look through all my drawings and the dates are always from April to September. Perhaps because that's the time when I come out of "hibernation" I hate the cold, so when im out in the beautiful weather having fun I get inspired.. Also probably the heat of summer, during the afternoon being indoors drawing or coloring the hottest part of the day till it's cooler in the evening. After a long winter I've picked up my pencils got a new sketch pad and have been at it like crazy lately.

  82. That is a tough question. I find inspiration in nearly all seasons (Winter is a rough one for me). I love the colours of Autumn, and I love the renewal of Spring. The bright sunshine in Summer and the children playing outside (much less these days) is also wonderful.

I am going to say that Autumn is my favourite and most inspirational season.

  83. The most inspirational season for me is winter =)

  84. Difficult question. Spring is so alive with a myriad of shades of green and green blends. It makes me want to go check out the progress of the season every morning, and to relish the deepening of the hues. However; autumn is so stunningly beautiful with all of its reds and oranges and yellows. And a fall sky is so much more interesting with its moody clouds forming fabulous shapes and shades! I have to pick 2 seasons as one could never do.

    ReplyDelete
  85. Any of them, depending upon my mood. I'd have to say that Spring or Summer are probably most inspiring, most often. I love the colors of both - blues, greens, violets, pinks, yellows.
