  2. For the first time I have some:
    1. Draw somethink small, a sketch or a study every day. Has not to be big, just 10-15 Minutes each day. So far I stick to that one.
    2. Make one bigger Piece of Art each month. (well this will be a challange, but I hope I can acomplish that too)
    the other one, (not art related) is: DO IT!

  11. Lose some weight,( about 14 lbs ideally), and get a bit fitter. Also draw more plein air when I am on holiday in May.

  12. For my art goals: 1 coloured pencil illustration per week.

    After a 20 year gap of not drawing I thank alot this group for inspiring me to take the courage and start drawing again Dec.2013 and free my self-expression in this area that I have missed so much! Happy New Year to all!

    -Read my Bible everyday
    -Exercise routinely
    -Improve my eyesight naturally
    -Learn French

  36. As a retiree and student artist, my resolution is to paint or draw at least 2 or 3 times per week, and to develop the confidence to paint freely and without fear of making mistakes. I'd also like to gain the artistic smarts to turn my mistakes into "happy accidents". Sandra Grimley

  41. To spend more time doing art for me! In the past, I tended to create art to please art show judges -- subject matters that they liked; artwork sized to their preference; etc., etc. Yes, I did win some art shows, but I really didn't get any real satisfaction from it. In 2014, I am creating artwork that speaks to me!! I'll still enter shows, but now it will be my way!!

  44. In 2014 I am committed to teaching as many colored pencils Classes as I can. First one started 1/10/2014 for six week and I am in the process of setting up a follow up now :-)

    I have been using colored pencils since 1983 and love them!

  45. My age is passing me by quickly...so I have started a bucket list instead of a resolution. First and formost to get my health on track and then concentrate on being a better Artist which has been on hold for quiet sometime. I have introduced myself to the wonderful world of colored pencil by seeing the talented Artist here and being inspired to learn all there is to this craft.

  47. This year I made a couple of resolutions which center on taking care of my mind and body. I always take care of the people I love, but don't think of myself very often. This year I made some resolutions to focus on enjoying my art, learn new techniques, and broaden my experience with different mediums. I also made a resolution to focus on ways to deal with my disease to make day to day life more bearable and my overall life more enjoyable.

  52. OMG! Last year circle to complete interior design professional exams in order to become licensed interior designer. Otherwise, those pass tests will be forfeited and I will have to retake all of them in a new cycled year. Consulted fellow architects the study remedies - read, read, read...,understand the contexts, and knowing the phases. I hope it works me. "Keep Moving Forward.."

Sometimes it's a busy day but this year it was to cold to be outside so I stuck with the inside activities although I will admit I haven't done much with art the last 2 weeks. Need to get going.
