ADVANCED WINNER - Jan Shilling

WHY IT WON: It is exciting to see how you handled all the textures in this image and actually added to the difficulty by including additional pieces to go with a steampunk theme you created. The scratch technique you applied to the burlap bags really works well with a great consistency to your lightsource and angles. Fantastic attention to detail, it really keeps your eyes entertained! 

BEGINNER WINNER - Yasmin Melean

WHY IT WON: There is no doubt you kicked this up a notch with your creative take on this challenge, but it was actually the rendering of each individual piece that won it for you. It is so exciting to virtually feel the rust and weight of the objects. Your individual images demonstrate how many great compositions you were able to find in just this one photo – the simple yellow plug against the orange plastic with a peek of rope shows this perfectly. Is the additional heart your signature? Brilliant!
